ONION RINGS WITH DIP

Onion Rings with Dip in Indian Style








Ingredients: 2 large onions, sliced into rings 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 cup water 1 cup oil for frying For the Dip: 1 cup yogurt 1 tablespoon mint leaves, chopped 1 tablespoon cilantro leaves, chopped 1 green chili, chopped 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt Directions: 1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, cumin powder and chili powder. 2. Add the onion rings and toss to coat. 3. In a small bowl, whisk together the water and oil. 4. Dip the onion rings into the batter and then fry in hot oil until golden brown. 5. Drain on paper towels. 6. For the dip, combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. 7. Serve the onion rings with the dip.
